● What we do

Five things, done properly.

We don't add a service every time a trend lands. After thirty-eight years on the tools we know what holds up in a Manchester winter — these are the jobs we take on.

01 Block paved driveways The work we've been laying in and around Hyde since 1988 — drives bedded properly, edges haunched, falls run to the gulley. Riven, smooth, Tegula and Brindle blocks all welcome.

02 Block paved patios Patios in stone matched to the house: laid level, jointed tight, finished to walk on day one. We measure, draw, then lay.

03 Garden walls Brick and stone walls — boundary, retaining, or feature. Capped and pointed to last as long as the drive in front of them.

04 Artificial grass Laid flat, drained properly, finished tight against the paving so there's no lip or gap. The lawn that doesn't need a mower.

05 Bespoke stone furniture Steps, planters, benches and table tops cut from the same stone we paved the garden with. One-offs, on request.

Phill, the lads, and the crew.

I started Phill Page and Sons in 1988, laying drives off the back of a flatbed in Hyde. Thirty-eight years on, the lads run the tools alongside me and we still work out of the same yard on Harris Drive.

We do block paving, patios, walls, artificial grass and the odd bit of bespoke stone — and we don't do much else. The work that comes back to us comes back because we laid it right the first time.
